Setting up a new e-mail for a family member, somehow the
address book I wanted to import lost all entries for boh
the sending & receiveing Address Book. When I now re-
enter addresses they show as "default" address. If I try
to send using the address--1.-it will not permit sending,
& 2.- The procedure wipes out the established e-mail
addresses & 3.- access to Outlook Express cannot be
achieved. Going to an earlier Restore Point will again
bring up Outlook Exp. but it is necessary to re-establish
original e-mail addresses for myself & the new family
member. The "restore" did not eliminate the "default"
designation for any address I enter in the Book. Using XP
sp1. All updates for XP & Outlook Express have been
installed. Would like to avoid re-install or repair
install to avoid re-installing sp1 & all the other
updates that either procedure seems to require. Is there
another solution? Is there an Outlook Exp. CD available
which would overwrite "OE" 6.0 which was part of the XP
insstallation, without corrupting XP?

Thanks Mary but the download seems to omit XP from
applicable operating systems

Thanks! but download not accepted because a later edition
on file

So you need to do a "repair" not an install. Like I said to the "MVP" in
my other post.
