Outlook Error

I have recently upgraded from Windows XP Home to Vista. When I click on send
and receive, I get an error message.
"Operation Failed - the object could not be found"
I am able to get e-mail from hotmail into my inbox, but am unable to send
out anything from outlook, e-mail or calander invities.
I can't figure out how to fix it, please help.

What I did was copied my old profile, gave it a new name. Then tell Outlook
to always use it when it opens Outlook. Then tested. Then delete old
profile. Good luck.
