Outlook error since Office XP SP3 update...

Trish

Ever since updating to the latest Office XP SP3 which
included the latest Outlook SP2 update I receive a dialog
box with the error below; but only when trying to reply or
send a new message. I already checked my PC and ran full
scans and their is no virus. It just started right after
I ran this latest update. I checked the knowledge space
and cannot find anything regarding this error. Has any
else experienced this yet???

A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should
choose "No". YES/NO/HELP

I always choose No and it does continue but Outlook does
seem to run a little sluggish.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am running Outlook 2002 with Exchange Server 2000.

I get the feeling that a lot of us are scrambling for solutions to this
problem - and finding none.

The only thing I've found is, to my mind, an awful solution. Install Express
ClickYes. This basically clicks the "Yes" button, whenever that dialog box
pops up. Even if a legitimate security problem were to trigger that dialog,
Express ClickYes would get you immediately past it.

Even with Express ClickYes in place, though Outlook 2002 has gotten
incredibly sluggish, during addressing and sending emails, so long as Word
is the email editor.

Hey! Nice Office integration, Microsoft!

ExpressClick Yes is at http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.html
