outlook error message

I am using Outlook 6. When I start it, I get a message that Outlook needs
Outlook Express 4.01 or higher to operate. I click ok and voila, Outlook
opens and functions normally. I have Outlook Express 6 on my computer. How do
I get rid of the irritating 4.01 message?

go into your control panel > add/remove programs.
check to see if maybe both versions are installed....if the older version is
still showing in there, uninstall it.
not sure if this will work.

Unfortunateley, that idea did not work. I found a setup file, an .exe file
and another file from Outlook 5.0 in the 6.0 directory. I deleted those and
still no change. Any other ideas?
