Outlook 2002 is not compatible with Vista and will constantly prompt you for
a username and password. This will never be fixed. There may be other
compatibility problems as well, so you're better off getting a copy of
Outlook 2003 or 2007. However, to fix the particular problem you're
experiencing, see if you have the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed
components\{44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C}. If so, change its value
from 0 to 1.

Oops. A typo here. I mean to say look up that registry key. If it exists,
it should contain a dword key named IsInstalled. That's the one that shoudl
have the value 1. This is Vista, though, and not XP, so I'm not sure that
key wil exist.

Glad to hear it.

Sorry, no. It requires Outlook 2003 or 2007.
