Outlook emptied all messages from my earthlink email...help!

I set up my outlook 2003 to pick up the emails from my earthlink
account...well it worked and now my earthlink account has NO emails in it!
Can anyone help me figure out how to keep the emails in both earthlink and in
outlook. Also...is there anyway that the emails can be put back in earthlink?

POP3 account? Then the messages are downloaded to the computer (that is how
the POP3 protocol works). In your account settings you can press More
Settings...-> tab Advanced to configure Outlook to leave a copy on the
server.

You cannot place items back on a POP3 server. Forwarding to yourself is the
only solution.
