How do I keep using earthlink email and start Outlook together?

I currently use earthlink email and would like to use both it and
Outlook concurrently, so that incoming emails will show up on both. Can I do
this? How? Alternatively, how do I test Outlook without burning my
earthlink bridges?

Are these POP3 accounts? In your account settings-> More Settings...-> tab
Advanced configure it to leave a copy on the server for x days.
