outlook emails wiped out

After upgrading from win 2000 to XP> I was prompted to
declare myself as a new user rather than
an "administrator", befor I could set up another user. It
then wiped out all my task bars, & now my outlook email
is blank! all the saved emails have disappearred. Any way
to find them?
