Outlook email connection to aq netscape email account

I have tried everything to get Outlook to accept my
Netscape account as the default account it should use. I
put the imap server info into the incoming part of the set
up and the smpt info into the outgoing part.

It then reads cannot connect to server. I have a cable
modem connection to the net. What am I doing wrong?

I hope someone out there has solved this problem because I
plan to start using Outlok extensively because of the new
PDA I got. So I need this working.

I am also having trouble with the same thing...I am pretty computer savvy and find this extremly frustrating... any help out there

Um, since when did Netscape and Microsoft ever play nice together? Why
would you expect their mail to be any different? Ask Netscape to allow you
to use your Outlook Exchange account and see what happens.

account will be deleted without reading.
