Outlook e-mail Problem

I can receive e-mail on Outlook in the Office Professional
Edition 2003. However, a problem just started where I
cannot send an e-mail. When I click "new" or "forward" I
get the hourglass and a message pops up that
says "Starting Microsoft Office Word 2003 as your e-mail
editor." From there the screen is frozen and I am dead in
the water. I am receiving e-mail however.

I sure would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this.
Thank you.

If you uncheck Word as the message editor, can you send mail? If not still,
can you test your account settings and report back the exact error message
from the Errors tab?

Thanks Milly. Unchecking Word got me back in business. I have no idea why it did though. Thanks again for the help.
