e-mail response and forwards

In Outlook 2003, my e-mail default is set to HTML, using Word as the editor.
I receive e-mail in a variety of formats: plain text, RTF, HTML.

When I respond, or forward an e-mail, the default response is in the same
format as the received e-mail. I would like to send out all of my e-mail in
HTML format.

Is there a setting that will force a response or forward to stay in my
selected preference of HTML?

Outlook ALWAYS replies using the same format as the original message. If
your sender had wanted HTML replies, s/he would have sent an HTML message in
the first place. If you want your replies always to be HTML, then use the
Format menu to select that format.
