Outlook connector only syncs 'inbox' folder

Hi,

I'm using OL 2003 and managing (or trying to) my Hotmail account with it. I
installed the Outlook connector (last version: 12.1 I think) and initially
was very happy seeing my messages, contacts and calendar in Outlook. However,
I noticed that only the Inbox folder is being synchronized!! I have my mail
quite sorted in 5 folders besides the 'Inbox', and they appear in Outlook but
they are empty. None of those messages are downloaded by the OL Connector.
Moreover, old messages in the 'Sent' folder were not downloaded either
(though apparently, new messages sent from OL are synched to the Hotmail
service).
At first I thought that a workaround was to put all the folders within the
Inbox folder but that cannot be done in Hotmail (or I couldn't find the way
to do it). And as many others have noticed, folders belonging to a Hotmail
account can not be administered from Outlook.
Has anybody else noticed this? (I searched but couldn't find anything
similiar)
Is there any solution?

Thanks

Are you sure the sync has been completed already?
What is being logged to the log of the Outlook Connector?
folder belonging to a Hotmail
account can not be administered from Outlook.
What do you mean by this?

Subfolders are supported in the Outlook Connector just like a full sync of
the Sent Items folder. It sounds like you have a corruption in your local
cache or that you have something integrated with Outlook that interferes
with the send/receive process.

First of all, thanks a lot for your answer.
Second, I have to add something I discovered today: NEW messages from
folders other than Inbox are being received by Outlook, so the situation is
not that bad. But I still miss all the old messages!!
Now regarding your answers/questions:
Are you sure the sync has been completed already?
Yes it has (or so it seems). At the beggining there was a message in the
Outlook connector toolbar saying "xx of 587 messages downloaded" (or
something like that) but now it's gone.
What is being logged to the log of the Outlook Connector?
Where can I see that log?
What do you mean by this?
I'm not sure, but there was something I tried to do with the folders that
gave a message saying that I can not perform that operation with folders
belonging to a Hotmail account. Now I have jut checked that I can create and
delete folders but something I can't do is to drag and drop a folder within
another.
Subfolders are supported in the Outlook Connector just like a full sync of
the Sent Items folder.
Well, it isn't behaving like that.
It sounds like you have a corruption in your local
cache or that you have something integrated with Outlook that interferes
with the send/receive process.
How can I check that? I don't have any other complement or plugin in OL. The
only thing I have besides the hotmail account is another POP3/SMTP account.
Now the hotmail is set as the main acocunt, but at first it wasn't and the
problem was just the same.
