outlook closes suddenly

I have Outlook open and when I click New to send an email Outlook just
closes. There is no error message and nothing pops up asking to send a
report to Microsoft. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Wade,
have you installed any Addins?
Have you tried to run scanpst.exe?
