outlook change mail accounts when sending mails

Can anyone help me? I have noticed that my Outlook 2003 send out mails
automatically under another email account though I have set this under a
different email account. I have scanned and checked my PC for virus but none
has been detected.

I have this similar problem when replying or forwarding any emails when I
changed the email account to use, but seems to have its mind on its own by
changing its email account when sending out mails.

I don't know if this helps, but Outlook defaults to using the account which
RECEIVED the message when you reply or forward it.

Thanks, Mike. Was able to do so in the past by changing accounts for
RECEIVED messages. The problem I encounter now, is that Outlook changes the
accounts even for NEW messages as well as RECEIVED messages when replying or
forwarding. Appreciate your inputs...
