Outlook Attachments

I use Outlook and ME and would like to know whay my Word
document attachments seem to turn themselves into
Winmail.dat files when the recipient gets them, ad they
cannot open them.

you are using RTF formatted messages. Switch to plain text and they should
remain word documents.
