outlook as default email

I have outlook set as my default email handler. When I am
browsing and click on an email link to send an email it
brings up outlook express instead of outlook.

tried changing the default and then changing back to
outlook. tried repairing. Nothing seems to work

Any ideas?

The OL MVPs tell us that with OL as the default Mail Client and using the
Outlook Newsreader (OL View>Go to>News; OE in poor disguise, but...), when
you're presented with the prompt to make OE the default News Client, you
should choose NO.

Thanks PA. the links were good. had to work in regedit
then do a repair on outlook and now it works fine.
