Outlook and Word crashing frequently.

I am running Office 2007 on a Windows XP sp3 computer p3ghz 2gb RAM and the
C: drive has 85% free space.

Each time I attempt to open a Word email attachment in Outlook, Outlook
crashes.

Frequently upon launching Outlook I receive an error message that Outlook
has closed unexpectedly because of a problem with the 'Outlook add-in'. MyFax
technical support says that their "Outlook add-in" works fine with Outlook
2007 and that there must be a conflict with some other program or add-in
which is causing the problem.

Word crashes frequently during use.

Norton Internet Security 2008 as well as other periodic online virus scans
finds no problems. I maintain all current updates to all programs including
Windows update. And I run diskeeper every day.

Please advise.

Start Outlook with the /safe command switch and see if that makes a
difference.
