Outlook 2003 Frequent Crashes

Lately, my install of Outlook 2003 (11.8010.8036) SP2 has been experience
frequent crashes for no apparent reason. They are random and can occur when
trying to send an email, or, more often, when it tries to load the preview
pane in a subfolder of my inbox.

I get the hourglass, and then nothing until I'm forced to shut outlook down
via task manager.

The complete randomness of these crashes is what is frustrating - yesterday
no crashes - this morning...7 in 45 minutes.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Maybe check administrive tools, Event logs

Unfortunately, no error messages pop up and I don't see anything in the event
logs referring to the situation.
