Chuck

I get random crashes 2-3 times a day with Outlook 2007 SP2 on Vista
SP2. As soon as I highlight a random email in the Inbox Outlook
freezes, crashes and then after restarting/recovering closes the
Reading Pane. The type of email does not seem to matter. I do not have
Norton AV or products installed. Issue started with Office SP1 and
still exists with SP2. I've run 4-5 detect and repairs, I've done
complete re-installs all with no luck.Any ideas appreciated!

I'll see if this helps, if not I'll give safe mode a go. I have
already disabled the Adobe PDF add-on.

Anyone?

Seems kinda common with Outlook 2007... Can I roll back to Outlook
2003? Server is running Exchange 2007. I didn't have crashing with
Outlook 2003 sp3 + XP sp2 or with our previous Domino mail system
running Lotus Notes 7.5/8.0 client.

You could try renaming OLMAPI32.DLL to, say .OLD, then use Add/Remove programs
to perform a repair install on Office. You can also uninstall Outlook 2007
and reinstall Outlook 2003, if you wish. You won't be able to use Word as
your mail editor and integrated features like mail merge won't work, but most
everything else should.

Olmapi32.dll is important file which helps to access PST file Outlook 2003,but due to some reasons when Olmapi32.dll file get corrupt or misplaced, Olmapi32.dll error occurs in outlook and PST file get inaccessible but fortunately Olmapi32.dll file error can be fix easily with using PST Repair Tool..
