On two IBM laptops I have upgraded Office 2003 to 2007. Since then otlook
crashes frequently fo no reason. I have uninstalled and installed Office
again, did Repaire the Windows, uninstalled and installed McAfee. Nothing
helped. I left Outlook open for about 1 1/2 hours and when looked again the
screnn was there again that Microsoft Office Outlook has encouraged a problem.
Do you have any suggestions for me to look for.

I uninstalled the McAfee software from the laptops and everything with
Outlook seams to be fine now. Is there an incompatibility between Outlook
2007 and McAfee?

It should work fine if you reinstall and omit the email scanning feature.

Hi Katia,
Do you have an SSQL server on your puter. Likely if you have Small business
edition - you may have this installed. If you scroll through the rest of
this board, you'll see that Outlook 2007 has some huge issues. Just an FYI -
I tried everything and nothing fixed the issues. Last resort - I uninstalled
the SSQL server and voila! ... everything seems to be working SO much better.

I am also having a terrible problem with outlook 2007. I was so excited to
upgrade but I can't even use the program because I keep getting the message
outlook not responding. It takes more than 5 minutes for one e-mail to
come up. It is horrible. What can I do to fix this. What is an SSQL
server and how do I uninstall it if I have it.

I am using office professional 2007. I keep getting a message that outlook
is not responding. I have been on the phone with Dell technical support for
hours and they can't seem to figure it out either. It is very frustrating.
