Help...I've had Outlook 2002 loaded onto my old windows 98 computer for a
while now without problems. Recently I purchased a new Windows XP computer
and loaded outllook onto it (For use with my ipaq 1935). Since I loaded (And
tried re-loading several times), I cannot get it to open. It gives me the
messages "No profiles have been created. To create a new profile, use the
mail icon in the control panel" (done several times), then when I hit OK it
comes back with "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the outlook
window. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this
condition persists" and of course since it will not open I cannot run any of
the usual troubleshooting programs in outlook...

I don't know if it's related or not, but I also cannot sinc. the ipaq now.
It tells me "Synchronization cannot be completed because calendar, contacts,
or taskfolder cannot be located in your Microsoft outlook profile. Close
outlook, start it again, and try to synchronize". I don't know where to
begin looking...Thank you for any help you can give me...

When you've done this, exactly what steps did you take? What buttons did
you click? What information did you add?

You've setup and Exchange account in your profile and I don't think you are
using one, right?

Delete the mailprofile (Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles) and
start a new one. Contact your ISP for server details. Most likely you'll
have a POP3 account.
