Outlook 2007

Are there any known issues with Vista and Outlook 2007. After installation of
Outlook 2007 and upon activation outlook searches for a PST file which it
accepts. On openeing any mail in the inbox it then tries to re configure
outlook then comes up with an error 1719. I have since installed Office 2003
using the same pst file and all is ok.

Hi Vaughan

Using Vista Ultimate and Office Professional 2007, absolutely no problems
here using any of the software. We use Outlook 2007 extensively and the only
slight problem was installing PST Back-up, which requires installing
differently to Oulook in Office 2003.

You may have a corrupted file as error 1719 normally denotes problems with
the Windows Installer file not being registered correctlt the file reference
is msiexec.exe.

You can either re-register the file or totally uninstall Office
2007>Reboot>Re-Install Office.

Ensure that no AV or 3rd Party Internet Security Suite is running before
re-installing.

I hope this helps

Regards
Stuart

I'm using MS office 2007 Standard Upgrade and have no problem with any of
the programs. When I set up Outlook 2007 I restored all my email, Calendar,
and Contacts from an 2003 Archive.
