What is the file extenstion for Outlook 2007 data files. I suspect it is no
longer .pst?
I tried to import my data files into Outlook 2007 after re-install of RC1
and Ms Office 2007 and could not see where the files are located.

outlook.pst is located in:
Users/[user name]/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Outlook
This folder is normally hidden so you have to turn on the "Show hidden
files and folders" option. I know because I just went through this
exercise myself trying to backup my .pst file. Searching for .pst did me
no good. Either I need a tutorial on how to search in Vista or the
search capability is deficient.

They are still .pst. What I did was, show hidden files and folders (Folder
Options > View (tab) > under "Adavanced settings":)

Then navigate to:
"G:\Users\Andre Da Costa\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" paste the .PST
file there then open Outlook.

As an aside my Outlook 2007 (beta2) is pointed to the .PST file from
the my Win XP Outlook 2007 (beta2) partition. Do the same for Money
2006 and Agent newsreader.

This is an interesting idea. Can you tell me how to point both the .pst and
Money 06 files from my XP partition?

I am running WinXP on my C drive and installed Vista RC1 on the D
partition. When dual boot is employed and you are in Vista the WinXP
partition is shown as D. All I do is point to: D:\Documents and
Settings\Garrett Adams\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.pst file.

You will have to set the show hidden files option in Folder Options.

Likewise, for Money I point to: D:\Documents and Settings\Garrett
Adams\My Documents\My Money.mny.

Synchronization works like a charm.
