Outlook 2007 - safe senders going to junk folder

Senders explicitly designated as safe are being send to the junk folder.
Has any fix ever been reported for this? Searches for information turn up
only questions with no responses or people responding that they couldn't
find a fix either.

Which mail account type are you using?
Do you have any additional 3rd party junk e-mail filter installed?
Do you have any rules configured which could cause this?

No.

No. The only rule that fires is one that triggers an external application
to save all of the attachments to a folder on the hard drive. This
particular sender has been sending me the emails for a couple of years
without any difficulty but in the last week his emails have been delivered
to the junk folder twice.
