Outlook 2007 - renegade formatting

P

Peter_Sydney

I've set my default font to be Arial 10 for all outlook messages (corporate
design requirement). Each time I reply to an email it converts everything to
Calibri and when I change it back manually (tedious!) I also have to change
the size and sometimes the colour we use. I’ve also set my emails to be
converted into HTML and half of what I get is TXT.
I also can't run any macros in outlook anymore and I can't set Word as the
editor as in previous versions.
Any help out there?

Thanks!
Peter

1. word is the only editor is outlook 2007
2. how are you converting all mail to html? This is probably the cause of
your problem and honestly, converting all messages to html is not
recommended.
3. are you selecting the text block and choosing Arial? That isn't all that
tedious.

Thanks for your thoughts Diane.
Why is it not recommended to read and compose messages in HTML format?

What I have to do when it converts back to Calibri is not just
ctrl A
ctrl D
select Arial
I also have to change the size of the font of my email signature (from 11 to
10 pt), but the rest of the window stays on 10pt.

I guess I'll stick to doing thet then.

thanks again!
Peter
