Outlook 2007/Outlook Connector

Hi,
There are a couple things I was wondering regarding the use of these two
softwares. I am currently only using my one hotmail account on outlook
through outlook connector. There is no other account in outlook.
I was wondering if i could:
1. synchronize the data (such as contacts, calendar, tasks) from the hotmail
contacts, calendar, and tasks to the contacts, calendar, and tasks for
outlook. Currently, these all appear in outlook as separate listings for each
of them, labelled after the hotmail account, so i have multiple calendars,
multiple contact books, and multiple task lists.
2. Better yet, is there a way to eliminate the multiples to just use one set
of each of the above?
3. If not, how would I set the default account to the hotmail account. For
example, when I click new->task, it automatically saves to the hotmail task
list, when I want it to just be in the outlook task list.

Further, for the BlackBerry users, I was wondering if there was any way of
directing the Desktop Manager to sync with the hotmail calendars, contacts,
tasks, as when I try it says that these outlook connector folders are "leaf
folders" and the children cannot be accessed.

If you could let me know, that would be great. Thanks.

Tasks cannot be kept on the Hotmail server, as far as I'm aware. Mail,
contacts and calendar are automatically synched.
2. Better yet, is there a way to eliminate the multiples to just use one
set
of each of the above?

Click Tools>Account Settings. Select the Data Files tab, click the Hotmail
folders, and click Set As Default. Stop and restart Outlook. This should
make the Hotmail folders your delivery location.
3. If not, how would I set the default account to the hotmail account. For

I'm not sure you can have Hotmail tasks. I could be wrong.

Try changing the delivery location as I described above and then see if the
Blackberry will sync. Naturally, you should make backups of your data
before making any changes.

thanks for the reply..

1. i should have been a bit more clear... i meant to ask if there was a way
to sync each of the calendars in outlook up with each other so they have the
same data.. ie calendars.. i have 3 calendars (outlook personal folders,
hotmail, birthdays), is there a way to consolidate all the data to appear in
both the personal folders and the hotmail one at the same time??
And yes, i believe there are task for hotmail. There is a separate tasks
list for my hotmail account as there is for calendar, memos, contacts.

2.
thanks... did this but realized that this wouldnt work for my blackberry
synchronization :(

3. still unresolved as there is tasks for hotmail :)

4. see #2 :p

As I said, if you make the Hotmail folders your delivery location, you
should be able to use that calendar exclusively.

It should, as long as the Hotmail folders are your delivery location.
However, I'm not familiar with the sync software used by the Blackberry. It
is the sync software that controls all aspects of the sync process. Outlook
is completely passive.
3. still unresolved as there is tasks for hotmail :)

Did you try making Hotmail the delivery location? What happened when you
did?
