Outlook 2007 freezing

When opening an email within Outlook 2007 and deleting the message by
clicking the delete button within the email, Outlook is not responding
anymore. The Outlook application cannot be closed anymore, only through the
taskmanager or logging on again to Vista.

Does anyone have a clue if there is a solution for this?

Do you get the same results in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> type; outlook.exe /safe

Also;
Does the issue go away when you empty your Deleted Items folder?
Use scanpst.exe to scan your pst-file for errors.
Which addins do you have installed?
