Outlook 2007 - Font on reply or forward enormously expanded

A

aufrex

Periodically, when I reply or forward a message, the font of the resulting
message is extra-ordinarily expanded in size. I have seen the posts which
suggest changing the "Zoom" setting to below 100%, however, the zoom setting
is set at 100%, and the large font appears anyway. Also, the large font is
not for the entire message, only discreet parts. When the message is
broken-down in HTML, I note that a large-font command is sprinkled inside the
message.

It is a pain in the *ss to have to check the zoom setting on every reply
message (and that is, apparently, no guarantee that the problem will not
arise). Is there any way to prevent this anomalous behavior from re-occurring
once and for all?

Zoom would not add html tags to fonts. I'd start with a fresh template
template - you might have goofy style or accidently apply a style to those
words. You can check if it’s a style by selecting the large words and
checking their style and fix it by selecting all and applying the normal
style.
