Outlook 2003 Reply to message enlarges text

When I reply to email messages in Outlook, the reply message font is really
really large. However, format settings still indicate Arial 10pt font. Even
from the Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts section.

I'm suspicious that this change happened when I replied to an email and when
scrolling my cursor, accidentally pushed on my mouse roller.

Could it be your zoom factor in Word?

That is interesting. When I unselect the 'MS Office Word to edit email
messages', that removed the issue. However, I'm not sure if this directly
impacts images, but since I did that, I haven't been able to view images
pasted into email. Not good since I view creative every day for work.

How would I assess the zoom in word?
-opening Word the scale is default at 100%.
-open Font - default font scale is 100%.
-selected 'Default' button from font and applied settings, that didn't
change anything.

Is there another area I'm not looking?

Thank you for your help. It's one of those annoying things.

You must change it when composing a message with Word as the email editor
and not just in Word.
