outlook 2007 encoding

What is the question? What is your environment?
- account type?
- message type?

If you have a PST file, is it a 97-2002 or 2003-2007 (Unicode type) file?

- what is the actual encoding of the incoming message?
- what is the unreadable text supposed to be?
 
No question, and no answers to my follow-up questions. Sometimes I
really think I should just ask "are you willing to answer some questions?".
 
I wonder how many posts are directly abandoned after posting. I think that
rate is actually quite high.
