Outlook 2007 attachment problem

Hi,

I have tried to get help on this problem for a month or so, o
different forums, but there is no-one who can help me.

I came across this forum today and am hoping that some who understan
Outlook 2007 inside out can help me.

I have an email in the drafts folder which is 480MB in size. I
contains all my emails from my inbox in one attachment.

I don't know how it happened, but I need to get those emails back fro
the attachment and put them back in my inbox.

Everytime I try to open the attachment, my outlook grinds to a halt.
can only 'open' it when I run Outlook in safe mode.

But I can't seem to extract the emails back and put them back in th
Inbox.

Any help will be highly appricated.

Cheers

I can't think of any way you could have done this and I can't think of any way
to undo it.

Thank you Brian for your reply.

I may be able to explain how it ended up like that. It is a long read
so bear with it.

Basically, I have a yahoo email account which I connected to my Outloo
2007. So whenever I get an email/s in yahoo, I can download them ont
Outlook.

Now, the problem is that when Outlook downloads my emails from yahoo
it only downloads the 'inbox'. So if I 'sent' an email through yahoo
it will not be synced with my 'sent items' of Outlook.

So, to keep the yahoo 'sent' folder in sync with my Outlook 'sen
items' folder,
1) I move all my emails from the Outlook 'inbox' into the 'delete
items' folder. This empties the 'inbox'.

2) Then I go into yahoo and move all the 'sent' emails into the inbox.

3) Then I go back to Outlook and then all the emails are downloade
into the Outlook 'inbox'. Then I move these emails to the 'sent items
folder.

4) Now I move all the emails from the 'deleted items' back to th
'inbox'.

Now there are no emails in yahoo, but they are in the right 'folders
in Outlook.

The problem happened in step 4.

All those emails never ended up in the 'inbox', instead they became on
big attachment and now sit in the 'drafts' folder.

I need these emails, so I can't delete that email. But I cant acces
them whenever I feel like. This is because it will grind my Outlook t
a halt.

I can only 'open' this attachment if I start Outlook in safe mode.

I dont mind to download this attachment to another software, but
really would like to have those emails back.

I am asking ALL Outlook experts to help me out here.

Thanks in advance.
