Outlook 2003

I just added outlook 2003 to my HP Pavilion 061 desktop
which is running windows XP Home Edition.

When I execute the program, a small window opens which is
labeled "Configuring Outlook". The message in the window
is "Configuring Outlook Accounts, Creating Welcome
Message". After a brief time out period, a second window
opens which says "The connection to the Microsoft
Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or
connected to complete this action". Outlook exits after
clicking OK on the second window.

I am not behind a local exchange server. My ISP is MSN.
MSN 9, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, etc. work OK.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Larry

Yes. Remove the Exchange account and create one suitable to your situation.
