Outlook 2003

My version of outlook has stopped working. Everytime I attempt to boot
outlook I receive the following error message; "business contact manager has
encountered a problem and needs to close." Then it asks me if I want to open
in safe mode and I cannot do that. I need to get to my calendar but cannot.
Can someone help me solve this problem? I have tried rebooting but to no
avail.

You could remove the BCM data store from Outlook's Mail profile. That
won't delete the BCM database (in case you need to recover data from
it), but it should stop Outlook from loading BCM when it starts up.

I have same problem which followed the auto update with "Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)"

Running XP Pro and Office 2003

Not able to open Outlook at all, fails after first outling of screen comes
up, enter repeats of Bus.Manger failed, try Safe Mode (but alos fails at same
point), then get a auto reconfigure, screen says "succesful" - but still
fails to open when I try.

If I cant open Outlook how can I delete the BCM data store?

Will this action lose all the emails I had awaiting my read/action?

Thanks
Tom

Emails are stored in Outlook and not in BCM's store. You can remove
BCM from your Outlook profile by going to Control Panel|Mail.
