outlook fails to start then problem with business contact manager

I have no idea how this started happening but when I try to open outlook I
get this message saying "Business contact manager has encountered a problem
and needs to close". I have not been able to use outlook for days and have
no idea how to fix this problem. Can someone give me some help in very easy
to understand non-IT language?

Start by using Office Diagnostics or Detect/Repair via your Office cd or any
functioning office component
I assume you do actually use BCM?
