Outlook 2003 will not remember password.

Folks, I have already tried the "protected service provider" solution in the
MSN support database and Outlook still won't retain my password when I have
the "remember password" box selected. Any...and I mean ANY solution is
welcome here. Thanks.
 
I wholeheartedly agree!
I have tried all the sugested tricks to no avail.
