Cannot remember my e-mail logon password, how do I change it?

I use outlook 2007 and have a need to access my e-mail logon password. I've
got the remember password box checked but can not remember the password
myself. Is there anyway to retrieve this or change or recreate it?

You wuld have to contact your ISP to reset or provide you with the password

If your password is correct (i.e., Outlook can access the mailbox on the
server) but you'd like to know the password, there are many tools, often free,
available on the Internet that will show you what's under the asterisks.
"Asterisk Key" is one. Find it at http://www.lostpassword.com/

If you use a commercial mail service (Google Mail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.), once
you know the password, you can log into your mailbox via the web and change
the password. Or you can call your mail provider's support people and ask
them to change it. You can then change the password in Outlook to match.
