Hi

I have installed Office 2003 and everything is fine accept for 1 item
outlook loads up and puts a icon in the live task bar next to the clock and
it monitors email coming in. But if I click it an error message returns
saying Outlook is not responding if you are using an exchange server (I am
not only connect to my ISP for email) I can cancel pending server requests
by deleting an icon in the notification area and cancel requests.

How do I do this if I don't have MS exchange server????

Cheers Dale Holden

Makes sense or I misunderstood your question;
The Exchange account is causing errors since you don't have an Exchange
server. By removing the Exchange account the errors should stop.

What does the "icon" look like exactly. Here is what mine looks like:

Does it look like that? Is this the icon you are having trouble with?
