outlook 2003 sp2 - cannot open forwarded emails

Hi all,

I have a laptop with Outlook 2003. Everytime I try to open a forwarded email
message (double click envelope), I get the following error message:-

"The form required to view the message cannot be displayed. Contact your
administrator."

The same email attachment can be opened on my desktop with Outlook. Any
ideas??

TIA!

Delete the file "FRMCACHE.DAT" - that's Outlook's cache for forms - that
you find in

C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Local Settings\Application
Datas\Microsoft\Outlook

Restart Outlook - the file will be recreated now by Outlook - and you
should be able to open the mails. If not, try to solve the problem by
doing a repair of Outlook

If this doesn't help too create a new profile

Ensure you turn on showing hidden files in the Windows
Explorer ->tools->options->view.

I dont see that file in that folder.

Sorry! The file is in

C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Local Settings\Application
Datas\Microsoft\FORMS

If you don't see this folder you have to enable the showing of hidden
files and folders (see Mill's suggestion).
