Can't open forwarded email messages

I have Outlook 2003 using XP Operating system. Until recently i have been
able to open all attachments. Recently, Outlook has not alowed me to open
forwarded email messages. I AM able to open attached files such as JPG and
WMV extensions, but when i doulble click on forwarded email attachements,
nothing happens. I have thought to uninstall outlook and reinstall it, but if
there is a simpler fix I ssure would appreciate hearing it.

Do you have Google Desktop? I think this problem is associated with the
latest version.

Thank you so much for the insight. I uninstalled Google desktop and that
fixed everything!! I really appreciate the help. You don't know how long I
have been trying to get this resolved.
