Outlook 2003, Single-User: Address Book vs Contacts?

P

I just migrated a family member to a new PC.

Found Outlook's .PST file and copied it to the new PC and they
have all their old emails.

But they're saying that they used to use "Address Book" to store
the names of people they correspond with.

In the new build, Outlook 2003 has "Contacts", which is populated
with all the names/addresses that they use.

But it seems like Contacts <> Address Book.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe they were using Contacts all
along, but that it just looked different on their old PC.

Can somebody elucidate?

Address Book is used by Outlook Express, they may have been using that
rather than Outlook.
