Outlook 2003 signatures

I am having a problem with signatures in Outlook 2003. I
have two different signatures for two different mail
accounts. I specify the same signature for reply/forward as
I do for new message for each account. Things work fine
with reply/forward (I get the appropriate signature
automatically). When I compose a new message, however, I
automatically get the signature that was defined for my
DEFAULT mail account, regardless of from which account I am
sending my email. I can always add the appropriate
signature manually, but that is a pain.

This seems like a bug; anybody run into this and have a
solution?

Did you assign a signature for each account? Are you using Word as the
message editor?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

Thanks for your response.

I assigned a different signature for each of my two mail
accounts.

In each account I assigned the same signature for new
emails and for reply/forward. For instance:

New Message Reply/Forward

Home Account Home Signature Home Signature
Work Account Work Signature Work Signature

With these settings, when I reply or forward, the correct
signature comes up (for whatever account I am sending the
mail from). However, when I compose a new message from
either account, the signature from the DEFAULT mail account
is used (if the default is Home, then Home Signature
appears whether I am sending from Home account or Work
Account).
