Outlook 2003 shows errors on closing and refers you to Symantec Technical
Support

Situation:
When you close Outlook 2003, you see error messages and a Microsoft Error
Report that refers you to Symantec Technical Support. You have WinFax PRO
10.03 installed.

Solution:Symantec has confirmed this situation to be an issue with WinFax
PRO 10.03. We do not have information at this time about whether or when a
fix may become available. In the meantime, one of the following workarounds
might resolve the problem.

To fix the problem, remove the WinFax Fax Log integration from Outlook 2003.
After completing this process, you can still send faxes by email.

After you remove the WinFax Fax log integration, you cannot view the WinFax
logs from within Outlook 2003. To view the WinFax send and receive logs, open
the WinFax Message Manager.

To remove WinFax Fax Log integration

Close Outlook 2003.
In the Windows Control Panel, click Mail > Data Files.
Click WinFax Fax Logs > Remove > Yes > Close.
Close Outlook 2003.
Open Outlook 2003 and test to find out whether the problem is gone.

If removing the WinFax Fax Log integration does not fix the problem, change
the WinFax service from automatic to manual.

To change the WinFax service from automatic to manual
Click Start > Run.
Type Services.msc and click OK.
Double-click the WinFax entry.
In the properties window, click Stop and wait for a message that
indicatesthat the service is stopped.
In the Startup type box, select Manual.
Click OK.
Restart the computer.
Restart Outlook 2003 and test to find out whether the problem is gone.

If the problem is not fixed, uninstall and reinstall WinFax PRO, Microsoft
Office, and Outlook 2003 in the following order. Because this process may be
time consuming, use this process as a last resort. This process loses any
customizations that you made to these programs.

To uninstall and reinstall
Uninstall WinFax PRO.
Uninstall Microsoft Office and Outlook 2003
Reinstall Microsoft Office and Outlook 2003.
Reconfigure Microsoft Office, Outlook 2003, and Outlook email as needed.
Reinstall WinFax PRO 10.03.
Disable WinFax Fax Logs integration in Outlook 2003.
Follow the steps in the above "To remove WinFax Fax Log integration"
procedure.

Tell me how this can in any way be considered a suggestion for Microsoft
when it's clearly a Symantec poroblem.
