Outlook 2003 Rule Not working

I am using Outlook 2003 and setup a rule for one of my accounts. It was the
"send an alert to my mobile device when I get a message from someone"
option.
I then selected "through the specified account" and selected the actual
account. I then selected (had no choice but to do so) "forward to people or
distribution list".

I tested the rule and it did not send anything to my Verizon mobile account.
The "forward to people.." was myself which I created a Contact with my
mobile
device as well. Why would it not work?

I am also having this issue. Did you resolve this? I do not see a posting
where a solution was found.
