Outlook 2003 HELP!!!!!

D

Dennis

After I exit out from Outlook 2003, I have Outlook icon in my sytem
tray (bottom righ). Here is the error messege when I point my mouse
cursor over.

"Outlook is not responding. If you are using an exchange e-mail
account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking outlook
icon in the notifications area, and then clicking cancel server
request on the shortcut menu"

How do I fix this problem?

Thanks,
Dennis

We have done some improvements to the Outlook shutdown
process in the release version of Microsoft Office
Outlook 2003. You should see this problem go away after
installing the release version.

Charles,

I've installed the release version and problem persists.

The task manager shows Oulook running even after closing it. Is this normal?

Ron,

If you have the release version of Outlook 2003, you have obtained it
illegally. Office 2003 will be released on October 21st. It is likely that
you have the Beta Version. The release version build number ends in
"...5606" in Help / About.

A follow-up to my problem.

The problem was solved after I deleted my profile and then reinstalled Outlook 2003.

Thanks,
Dennis
