Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003

I have a client who is using Outlook 2003 with an Exchange 2003 server in
cached mode, so that he can access his email while traveling. Everything
was working fine, until earlier this week when his Outlook profile got
corrupted and had to be rebuilt. The tech who re-configured his profile
forgot to enable cached mode. Now he is traveling and wants to access his
email. Is this possible if he has the ost files on his laptop? Is there
any way to recover from this or does he have to wait until he has a
connection to the Exchange server?

One thing he can try is enabling Cached Mode through Control Panel-> Mail
and place/name the ost-file accordingly. No promises but worth a shot.
