Outlook 2003 Error

Hi All,

I experienced this problem whenever I open my Outlook 2003,
"The data file “Mailbox -username†was not closed properly.The file is being
checked for problems."

I have to restart the Outlook serveral times before I'm able to access my
mailbox.

Would appreicate if anyone and help me this issue.

Hi Alan,

I had also experienced the same problem in outlook 2002. I tried
scanning the pst file with scanpst.exe.After scanning, it said there were
minor incosistencies in the file. I said it to repair it & my problem was
solved. You can also try this & see if it works for you.

Location of scanpst.exe: c:\program files\common
files\system\Mapi\1033\sancpst.exe

Double click on the Scanpst.exe file, it'll ask for the path of pst
file.Provide it by clicking on the browse button & say Start scan.
