Outlook 2003 does not load from ie6

Hi,
I´ve got a problem with the toolbarbutton for e-mail in ie6. When trying to
access functions as 'send page' and others from ie6 nothing happens. Really,
nothing happens, no errormessage or anything. I´ve checked about a million
things and it all seems right in internet options. I´ve also verified that
Outlook only runs one instance. Suggestions?

Go to Start, Run - Type in the following with quotation marks and press OK
"C:\program files\microsoft office\office\outlook.exe" /checkclient
You might want to use copy and paste.

I´m sorry to say that the suggestion did not work. From what I´ve read in
this forum others share my problem. Surely there must be a way to solve this?
I´ve tried reinstalling Outlook and setting up a new mailprofile but that
didn´t do the trick either.

Sometimes the fix for a problem is too simple. What I did was to change
email-program to Outlook Express in Internet options. Restart the browser and
change it back to Outlook and then restart browser again. Works fine now.
