Outlook 2003 Distribution list export to Exchange 2007 GAL

Hi,
Anyone know of a way to export a Distribution list that someone has in their
outlook to the Global Address list. They have a list of about 25 people some
are on the Global Address list and some are just external email addresses.
They want this to be a shared distribution list that can be selected from the
Outlook address book. Could this be done or will I have to setup each of the
external mail addresses as contacts in Exchange 2007 then create the DL and
add all the members.
I am trying to find a quick way to do it.
thanks heaps

The GAL can only contain mailboxes and custom recipients. Try creating a Public Folder=Contacts and copy the item there. Give appropriate permissions to people who need to use the DL.
