Distribution List

I created a distribution list on my PC and when I create a mail message and
click on To, our global address lists comes up and I can see my address book
below with my contact list which has my distribution list. I went to another
office to show her how to do this and under the To, I can only see the Global
address list and not her address book. The only way I see the distribution
list on her PC is to click on her contacts. Is there an option that should
be set on her PC that will show her contact lists under address?

Well you wouldn't be able to see a D/L, created in YOUR addressbook, on
someone else's machine unless you had shared your addressbook first anyway.

I'm sorry if I explained it wrong. When I went to her machine to create one
for her, her contract list did not show in the address list. She needed her
own distribution list. I can not figure out why her Address list is not
showing her contacts only the global list. thanks,

What version of Outlook are we talking about?

2003 Outlook

OK - not too familiar with 2003, as I haven't used it for a year or so. You
need to set the "use as an outlook Addressbook" in the properties of
Contacts. I think if you open Contacts and then right-click on the Contacts
icon under My Contacts in the L/H pane and choose properties...

She hasn't enabled her Contacts folder as an address book yet. Have her
right-click on Contacts, choose Properties, select the Outlook Address Book
tabe, and check the box labaled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address
Book". She may have to stop and restart Outlook.
