outlook 2003 cannot right click on file and send via email

hello,

when I right click on a file, PDF, or whatever, I cannot send it via email.
same with email links in adobe acrobat, and any other program. can send
email, and add attachments via the outlook program. I have run detect and
repair. reinstalled outlook 2003, any ideas of how to resolve this issue.

Do you have a default mail program defined under Control Panel->Internet
Options->Programs tab?
